GROUND FLOOR RETAIL

The Transition. The ground floor of the Silver Mill House originally consisted of 12 condominium units which included interior corridors and stairwells access via the plaza level. In the early 1980's, the owner of these units and the Marsac Silver COA decided to merge the 12 units into 4 spaces, incorporating the interior corridors, and also expanding part of the southern most space, which is now the bar / entry area of the Baja Cantina. Essentially, this commercial space was gutted and totally redone with new dividing walls. This was done with an agreement with the Silver Mill COA and a small land purchase and ground lease from the resort. Now all retail traffic enters from the ground floor area. Besides commercial space changes to the Silver Mill House in the 1980's, more recently (in 2003), the ground floor commercial space was modified in Marsac Mill Manor to provide for an expanded registration area and handicap accessible restrooms. Registration parking and handicap ramps were also added, and the registration desk in the Silver Mill House was enclosed and turned into a computer room.

Size. The total rentable area of the ground floor space totals approximately 8,600 net rentable square feet. This represents about 10% of all commercial space at the resort.
