ABOUT SILVER MILL HOUSE
(& Marsac Manor House)

The Silver Mill House is located in the center of Park City Mountain Resort, just east of the Marriott Mountainside Hotel Resort and the bus transportation center. Please view a diagram of the buildings at the resort.

Firsts. The Silver Mill House was one of the first ski oriented structures developed at the Park City Resort, along with the Marsac Mill Manor building. These two structures formed the the Marsac Mill Manor and Silver Mill House Condominium Owner's Association (Marsac - Silver COA) formed in 1972. This was only about five years after the original founding of the Park City ski area, which was originally known as Treasure Mountain during its first couple of years. Marsac Silver COA was one of the first condominium associations formed in Utah.

Mixed Use. The Silver Mill House has six floors with commercial space located on both the plaza and ground floor levels containing 7 tenants with the upper four floors containing a total of about two dozen residential condominium units. The Marsac Mill Manor building has about a dozen residential condominiums on its upper floors and commercial space on the plaza and ground floor level containing 3 commercial tenants. It also has the check-in facility for the residential units in both buildings. Combined, the two buildings that form the Marsac Silver HOA contain a total of approximately three dozen residential condominiums and 10 retail tenants.

Parking. Ample parking for the Marsac-Silver COA buildings is provided in the large resort parking lot across from bus transportation center. Some covered parking is also provided in The Gables, just west of the Marsac Mill Manor building, and open parking for registration is provided on the side of this building, just before entering the Marriott Mountainside Hotel. In addition, long-term parking can be obtained for retail tenants in both the Resort Center Inn and The Lodge at the Mountain Resort.

Ownership. Though there are a total of nearly fifty condominium units that are part of the Marsac Mills COA, several owners have multiple condominium units, resulting in fewer than approximately two dozen total owners. However, the largest single owner is Silver Milll, LLC with an approximate 10% interest. About three other owners own 3 to 5 residential units and a couple commercial owners own multiple units, with several percent interest. Therefore, about half a dozen owners have about 50% of the representation in the COA.
